đź“Ł From 10 to 12 April, Inria attended Laval Virtual, France. As the leading event dedicated to immersive technologies (virtual reality, augmented reality, etc.), Laval Virtual has been bringing together Europe’s XR community since 1999.
🎬 Two crowd-related demonstrations were presented to visitors:
– This one is me: preliminary research into the perception of bodily movements, in which visitors are asked to recall movements that have been recorded via their virtual reality avatar.
– Density Observatory: an experimental study to analyse the impact of the number of individuals and the environment on integration into a crowd by one of the participants.
🏆 This second demonstration is closely linked to the Virtus team’s work on the CrowdDNA project. And we’re proud to be presenting them at such a major exhibition!
