On the 17th of August CrowdDNA H2020 Project was running a Crowd Observatory at ArcTanGent festival! Continuing the work of capturing footage of crowd movement 4 members of Crowd Dynamics attended ArcTanGent to capture footage across the site that included several stages of live music.
“We captured footage of areas no previously recorded at previous observatories, including wide angles of the exit from the main stage of the festival. We wanted to capture and learn how the crowds navigated around the complex area of supports for the tents and the crowds who were sitting outside. We got observed lots of exciting behaviours that will be exciting to discuss with the other members of the project.”
